She was the first medium to appear on the David Frost Show in 1963 where she gave an unedited demonstration of Clairvoyance. This had never been done before, and caused such uproar that the ITV switchboard was blocked for days after the broadcast. Jessie was called back to do another demonstration the following week. This was an unheard of event in the UK at the time, and Psychic News made an award to Jessie making her ‘Spiritualist of the Year.’ Jessie also visited the USA and Canada, where she gave many demonstrations and appeared on National TV in both countries. Her work and the quality of her mediumship are still talked of today by those who still remember her.
